AVS will remain free AFAIK

    I have seen advertisements of "the new AOL" in the AOL security center, so this is indeed possible with AVS as well. But it probably wouldn't be a popup banner, rather just a sort of rolling ad somehow related with AOL services.

    I reckon it is only for US customers. I would be interested to know if anyone outside the US has been able to download it.

    On the UK AOL site there are only links to buy McAfee branded version, no mention of the free AOL branded version.

    You can only obtain it from USA site, but it should be available for all AOL customers.

    I guess I was wrong about it only being for US customers then. I just can't seem to download it even though I signed up for the free email account. And did it really need the sarcastic eyes rolling?
