    this will get closed..you may want to ask a better question.. like what are the differences or what features do one or the other have etc.. if you ask which is better it will get closed.

    I have both & are paid for.

    ESS

    that is my opinion.

    However, if you set Avira to do nothing except you manually scan your computer with it from time to time it won't do any harm, you can check for any virus's etc that NOD32 may miss, there is not one program out there that will catch everything, just some that are better at detecting than others.

    NOD is tops by a good length & Avira 2nd.
