Avira Premium 9 - Installation ?

    I noticed that when you choose a "Custom" Install of Avira AntiVir Premium 9 that you are given an option of selecting either an Avira Av Boot Option of "Normal Start" or "safe (early) Start" of the Avira pgm.

    The screen says reccommended default next to "Normal Start" and early start protection for "Safe Start".

    So what is the real difference between the two?
    Which have you installed with?
    Anyybody using "Safe Start (early start)" ? ... Any issues with this option ?

    safe start is their for when ur installing Avira on an infected machine, so that way Avira loads before the malware. other than that, no real diff i know of. normal start is best if ur not infected.

    Avira Safe Start feature is similar to Early Load feature in Norton 2009.
