First ZA then Bitdefender and now Avira. This "gamer mode" feature is catching on.

Now that I think about it, youre right. sort of. avast is only an antivirus whereas the other products have firewalls and their "Game mode" also deals with the firewall alerts.

I havent left them, they reside on my laptop. I love this company and their folks but I dont know much about this gamer stuff so I cant comment. I like F Secure to and since I was granted a chance to check it out with Vista, thought I would. I still think I may be seeing the update problem I had with XP but wont know for a couple of days. If I do, BIG RED will fly again.

And let me add this to, as far as Vista goes, Avira and Norton are the only 2 that have hit the nail on the head.

Hot there in Charlotte, trjam? I was coming back from Myrtle passing thru Columbia (on my way towards Asheville) went by Interstate 77 interchange on 20 and thought of you up there baking under that intense heat. Of course, I was baking too. :D. Couldn't enjoy myself down in Myrtle because it was so dang hot. Felt like an oven.

    Later.

You think the recent weather on the East Coast is bad? I was in Tucson in mid-July a few years ago and it was over 115 with little humidity. Even without it being humid, it was HOT. *puppy*
