Avira Bug In The On Demand Malware Scanner

    Good Evening! Neil Rubenking in P.C. Magazine review on Avira Premium Security Suite 9, states that "A significant bug in the on demand scanner could leave the user thinking malware was removed,when in fact it was ignored,and this bug won't be fixed for a month". Being a user of the product,this leaves me feeling somewhat un-secure(pun-unintended). Has anybody on the forum seen any feedback,from Avira regarding the problem! Sincerely...Securon. The review is dated 04/08/09.

    This bug should be fixed with the big update that was rolled out yesterday.
