Avira 10 & Firewall.

I am using Windows XP Pro & when I tried to install Avira 10 with online Armor my computer got slow maybe. Actually Avira might not have been the problem. Just wondering if Online Armor objects to the behavior blocker in Avira 10 or Vice Versa. I suppose I could try a firewall without HIPS but they are far & few between

 

The Avira security suite has a firewall without HIPS.

Just a thought.

 

I have installed Avira 10 Premium AV ( not the suite ) with Online Armor on windows Vista. No problems at all. I don't know what others are saying about the Proactive component, but I think it checks far less things than a classical hips like the one included in Online Armor. A possible conflict is possible but I have not seen a case yet.
