AVG LinkScanner 2012.1808

    AVG LinkScanner 2012.1808 (9/12/2011) is shown as available for download. I noticed it when I saw a new icon on my Desktop. The new version must have been installed as an auto-update.

    It is strange that when you open up the program all of the Trial stuff (bait) is missing in the new version. I wonder if this change is related to recent controversy related to AVG and Privacy.

    I just turned on one of my PC's that had been off for a few days. AVG had not yet updated AVG LinkScanner to version 2012.1808. It looks like AVG got rid of the Trial stuff with the first release of AVG LinkScanner 2012.
