AVG antispyware or anti-Trojan only

    I have recently purchased the AVG antispyware program. I have seen comments that it is only good for anti Trojan detection and not all spyware. Is this true?Do I need another program for spyware?

    although the original ewido was better at detecting trojans, the program is improving and i doubt you would need a separate antispyware.

    Hi, folks: AVG antispyware is a rebirth of Ewido(the king of antitrojan, was and well respected). Its new ruler has changed its ID and is gradually adding some antispyware capability. Generally speaking it is not a bad AS. However, if you ever have doubt about its power fighting spywares, what not search this forum; you will find several better than average apps, and free too.
