My rating... 5/5 if you want a grade. Overall I like it a lot. The toolbar and the whole browser hijack can easily be opted-out.Have it installed on my sister's netbook and my dad's PC. They're both running malware-free for over 6 months now.

Agree 100%.Had it installed a month ago or so (in fact i still have a backup image with AVG free,Privatefirewall and Sandboxie) and i have no complaints.Combined with some HIPS or BB and Sandboxie,it offers excellent protection.
And i will restore that image anytime without hesitations.

    OK,I Have to say this:

AVG is a really good program and I dont understand why is this the most under-rated AV program in many people;s opinion.I like the strong identity protection.Rating: 5/5 :D

I haven't used this program since about 07 and back then it left a bad taste in my mouth... But I am open to giving it another shot. I might just have to fire up a VM and give 2013 a try just to see how it does.

I have been using AVG 2013 in conjunction with Privatefirewall for over a year, since switching from avast because of stability issues with that A/V. In that time I have nothing but superlatives for AVG. Nothing has yet gotten by this combination with PF. AVG works quietly, effectively and efficiently in the background, and it gets the job done without destabilizing my systems. :thumb:
