AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5.1.43 released!

I just bought it a month ago AVG Internet Security with Firewall. And I just checked your link and the cost to upgrade is more than I paid for it to start with. If they are going ot stop doing updates to AVG Internet Security then I will wait and might get it cheaper or free. Any ideas on that? Right now they want $43.00 I go tit onsale for $29.95 a month ago.

 

I follow the link for upgrading to 8.0.
Have copied and pasted LN of my AVG AS 7.5.143, purchased once from Grisoft.
It was the life-time one.

The link says
"An error occured
The license number you entered does not match an AVG 7.x product."

I'm really not allowed to do receive the 8.0 version ?

 

So you have AVG AS. AVG 8 is their Internet Suite.
AVG AS is being phased out.
I do not know if if lifetime lic holders of their AS app will get a discount or not for upgrading.
Maybe someone from Grisoft can answer this for you

 

Some time ago we all received an email from Grisoft in which they told us our life-time license will no longer be available.
Instead they offered to give us a two year license for one of their products, including AVG AS.

I would send an email to their support, since it appears you didn't receive their email to exchange your life-time license.
Else their email got trapped by spamfilters or ended up in your junk folder.

Weird, since I received my new license key some time after.
Else they've stopped that offer, but at least they could let you know.
Hope their messages weren't caught by spamfilters or ended up in your junk, which is still a possible cause as to why you didn't receive an answer to your mails.
