On my system, AVG Anti-Malware uses over 60,000K of memory.
    Is this normal?

    Thanks.

Seems normal especially since SAS uses roughly the same amount.

I also have a license to AVG AM and have been wondering about the memory usage. As a comparison, my A-squared anti-malware uses 60,000K by itself. When I add my Avast processes to that, I end up with 90,000K. I'm only using the web and standard shields with Avast.

I use AVG Internet Security, these are the processes I see:

    avgfwsrv.exe - 7084K
    avgemc.exe - 1364K
    avgrssvc.exe - 3092K
    avgupsvc.exe - 720K
    avgamsvr.exe - 612K
    avgrssvc.exe - 48,828K
    avgcc.exe - varies from 472K to 3544K

So, total memory usage = 62172K or 65244K. Seems normal. Subtract approx. 7000-8000K for AVG Anti-Malware. :)
