    Hi,

I noticed that AVG is performing less I/O after a scan. I can not find any info on a smart hex image mechanism to notice that executables are not changed. Anyone more infor on this?

    Thx Kees

Kees, although beyond my level of expertise, I'm intrigued by your question.

Could you expand on this I/O comparison between Avira and AVG?
How are you monitoring reads and writes?
In what respect are you amazed, besides noticing a decrease in I/Os?

    Just curious; eager to learn.
