In the past I thought one av was the smoothest, least system impact available with good protection. Now Avast has been added to that IMO. The sandbox though puts the Avast Pro as #1 for me and I have tried them all.

Is the discount only good for the (1) year license? On the website is showed a special price of $59.95 for (2) years on the full suite. I thought I could use the coupon for 55% off of that price but it didn't work. Did I misunderstand something?

buck, its working but keep in mind the 55 percent is off list price. Not the discounted 2 year price. So for me, 2 years totals out to the following, which aint bad.

Good Morning ! Buckslayr...Trjam's absolutely correct...for 2yrs...that pricing is super competitve...I just about sprung for the two years...but because my Canadian dollar is now at parity with the American dollar...and the Security market is now under going heated competition...what with mergers...etc. I'll check out the coming offers available Black Friday...and running I'm sure through the Xmas season. But I must admit I'm delighted so far with Avast. Sincerely...Securon

Got in today - 1 PC, 3 years - what a great deal! Thanks to Wilders and Avast!

(Timing was good as my Norton 360 ran out. I think I'm going to enjoy this more.)

Got it today the Avast Internet Security for 3 PCs, each for 3 years at a total cost of 76.48!

    A bargain for Wilders!

Thanks Avast and thanks trjam for arranging this.

Been using Avast Free on all my computers for years. Time to pay back some of the kindness.

Why is there such a disparity, or lack of one, between the price of a 3 user security suite and a 3 user av? The prices are almost the same and I noticed in the free version the promo is about the same cost for a 3 user suite or 1 user av. Maybe it's a marketing strategy?

I just tried the code "55WILDERS2010" today for 5-user/2-year and it says "The coupon code you entered is invalid. If you have questions about this, please contact the publisher."

Is the code no longer in effect?

Hmm, PMs to two Wilders members ignored, an email response from Avast support telling me how to uninstall Avast before reinstalling it again, and finally a response from Avast sales claiming that there is no discount code "55wilders2010" and that they never give 55% off. I don't know what's going on, but thanks anyways.

    As said previously,
so the discount would've been significant.

Judging by this thread, a lot of people had trouble getting it to work. I tried on several different days (even a couple of weeks ago just to test it), using 3 different browsers to eliminate that possibility. Maybe it only works for US-based IP addresses, but then, nobody said "US customers only".

Seems to work for me and Im transmitting from Denmark. Actually I did not buy anything but punching in code at bottom of "Your Cart" page, clicking update works. For both Pro and Suite.

Well, thanks for trying guys. And for responding.

It's too late anyway -- I went ahead and bought at the "regular" 25% off (which is still pretty decent) since I needed the key for a roving laptop. I guess I could've gone Free until I got it sorted out, but I wasn't hopeful, especially after the response from Avast support with "how to uninstall Avast" when I was asking about a coupon code that supposedly came from them. And then when Avast claimed they never had a key like that, well...o_O

Hmmmm, in NL the exact same amount. In €€.
    For a 3 PC & 2 year license, it's €51,73 ($ 68,10) after the Wilders 55% discount code.

Folks in NL (all Europeans?) pay over 30% more than Americans?
    What's that all about?

Check each currency first but usually it's best to pay in USD.
No VAT, GST or US State taxes either.
