Avast is not doing P2P scanning even though P2P scanning is on.

    I have Bittorrent and I look at the P2P shield and it says no files have been scanned. Is it still scanning? What is wrong?

    Check that Bittorrent is not disabled in the list of supported P2P programs. IIRC P2P scanning was disabled by default for some programs because it used too much CPU.

    Its checked. It has been for weeks. But it never seems to scan anything it downloads.

    Which bittorent? Old one or new one? New one is based on uTorrent which is disabled by default in P2P Shield...
