I Installed both on the laptop so far everything works well. At first tho it drove Avast nuts as Prevx checked its files. But other then that all seems well.

I would always advice to create exception rules for both!

Iam running the combo on Win7 64-bit. I think you too. Am i right?

No problems at all. It is very fast!

I use avast!5 and prevx together. They complement each other very well in detection. What avast doesn't catch is catched by prevx and vice versa. That´s been my experience over the last few days. :thumb:

On top of that they run both super fast.

NM found it now both programs have exclusions from one and other.

Ill pick up a prevx licensee next week If this continues to work out. My wife's computer which normally runs with NO AV because because of conflicts. Likes prevx we will see how it works on her end also. :D

You dont need to add exceptions but if you want to add a exception in prevx:
Detection overrides - add override - choose file - always trust this file.

    Im slow today

I mainly add exceptions to one and other just to avoid potential conflicts. It would not be good if my Boss walked in and seen my laptop having issues when he trusts me with his network.

Fajo, I might not be offering timely advice, in that I run avast! 4.8 and Prevx 3.0.1.65, but with that in mind, I will tell you that they work extremely well together. By adding GeSWall Pro, and keeping ZAP, I have a great feeling of being well-protected. I don't think you'll be sorry running avast! and Prevx together. Good luck.

I have had the Avast beta on my laptop for the past month or so now has caused no issues. Prevx was added to this setup when I tested it, I was impressed not only from a personal view but as a tech even on the company laptops that I loaded it on ran without a hitch. (Thanks to Prevxhelp for the Test Key to test it out) I will switch my main setup out when Avast is released. But for now I'm happy with this selection.
