    I use AIS on W7 ,
absolutely no lag when web browsing .

The AIS is a masterpiece concerning OS performance hit.

Good Morning ! Using A.I.S. on Windows 7 no lag what so ever, it seems the firewall is operating independent of Windows firewall. So far this is the most impressive suite I've used. Although it's still early this is very impressive ! Sincerely...Securon

Hi Avast' webshield works with Ad Muncher but you have to modify Webshield configuration file. Check this post at avast forum

I'm not sure you understand what a sandbox is meant to do. When I clicked "run" on that live piece of Malware, from a browser that was supposedly sandboxed, the Malware should have executed, or tried to execute but ONLY in the sandboxed environment. A sandbox should sandbox the infection protecting my machine. I should not be finding Malware remains in my system32 directory. I agree with you that if you save the infected file to the desktop and execute it there, that it would be running out side the sandbox and infect your machine. In the video nothing was saved and executed out side the sandbox.

I gave the suite version a short test spin and it is not what I am looking for. I did however find this discount link for those of you that may be interested. It appears to be a functional link from an Avast reseller and/or Avast??

Actually No, I did not watch you video as my time is a little more valuable then that. But thanks. :D

Also if your going to test a product at least have a darn clue what you are doing or for that fact how the product it self is designed to work. But then again maybe I'm asking to much.

I don't think really matter what Anti-imalware app its scanned with. The fact of the matter is malware made it through. I could have rescanned with Superantispyware but then everyone would have complained about that too. So at the end of the day, why does it matter what anti-malware scanning app I use to check the system for malware?

    1. I would take internal testing over wanabemalwaretester's You-tube video any day.

    2. Sandbox is there to compliment the another defenses not be used as sole defense like Sandboxie. The sandbox is made to add to the program and from what I understand he disabled parts of the program during his so called "Tests".

    3. MBAM People that seem to think this thing is god crack me up. Learn to use system snapshots system or for that matter or a program that shows what was changed or added in the last X amount of time. It would be a hell of alot more reliable then using another AV to diagnose a system. :cautious:

    Fajo ,

I will end my comments on this issue with a Vlk quote (ref above)

"Now, again, I'm not trying to discount the findings of the video, it's definitely worth looking into and that's exactly what we will do."

no more from me on this issue within this thread what so ever :)

"Not processed yet" error....and please, for the love of god don't let this be another Malwarebytes showcase. It'll just prove my point. Standing by for video in the meantime.

Okay, I watched the video. Stand by for some criticism, I can't help it:

    1. You tested ONE sample?

    2. If it was really new, I'm not sure I would have expected Avast or anyone else to detect it yet. But that's entirely dependent on what this malware actually was.

    3. You uninstalled the program after ONE missed sample?

In other words, another useless Youtube video. But you at least kept your promise on no Malwarebytes.

Edit: This "ah0" thing, are all these files afterward different samples or a part of the same sample? If they are a part of it, I stand by what I said. Also, as far as "No update", you can hardly count that as a negative. That either means 1. It was fully updated, or, 2. The update server was just funky for the moment, which seems to have been the case.

I just wonder why in none of these videos the author trys to explain what got thru. Its like well MBAM showed me some Bold Red Text so this porogram is a total piece of junk. So stupid.
