AV that can update signature & program

    Just wonder which AV can live update signature and program without reinstall new version or patch.
    I know Norton and Dr.Web can. Anyne konw others?

    Nod32, at least the current vers. .5 to .7 is supposed to be pushed out this month if you have updates configured properly. 3.0 may be a different story, time will tell.

    f-secure can.
    you can just install say e.g. 2007 version and let it update since they never seem to add features after the version comes out lol.
    kaspersky you need to uininstall old version for new with service packs but the rest of the time you dont

    its best to install a fresh version of a program every once in a while.
    with f-secure you just install and forgot and hope it works.
    with each version it says the new features and thats it till the next version.
    not like kaspersky and antivir and nod32 they all add new features quite alot.
    so just install and forgot can be a bad thing cos you dont get new features.
