    hemkop,

although the detailed results/reports are not yet posted, there IS a new summary table showing the new (2006) Standard/Advanced/Advanced+ ratings on the av-comparatives website

You're quoting very incorrect information about the results, especilly for such a good friend of IBK. It also strikes me as unusual that you are calling into question his integrity as a tester when you're such good friends as you said earlier.

Go to the website, then click "online results" in the middle. Scroll down a bit after that and you will see the line "To get an overview of the comparatives, we summarized them in tables. You can find them here." You can click on "here."

Wow, thats a nice surprise from Alwil Software team
They scored Advanced! Nice job. Can't wait to see detailed info.
Kinda disapointed with BitDefender, F-Prot, Dr.Web and Panda.
    Well see the difference later...

Though i don't see the point of TrustPort. Sure results are high, but it's using BitDefender and Norman engines. o_O

I agree. My previous post's contents are just my speculation and nothing else (I didn't say I was "pretty sure"). But I did see those companies on the presentation list, so I guess they were invited at some point, but didn't make it :doubt:

And no, my info is not correct; I was just trying to see what the reasons could have been. :)
But I did know that AntiVir was about to get an Advanced+ this time (by intuition+logic).

Don't you have the AVG and the Avast results mixed up ?

or maybe the total detection of Avast is wrong ?

I guess that Avast should have at least 90 % to get Advanced , that's why i don't understand how AVG with more than 90% is only standard while Avast is Advanced.

btw, to all: please read everything exactly before asking somthing, do not look only on numbers in bold or just the tables, otherwise senseless questions could arise. ;)

Eset is doing quite well, reading the report the "missed sample" number of this test dropped alot. From 5000 to closely 0... good job!!
