Hi, for security I run every evening automated a virus scan in c:/windows/system and c:/windows/system32. This scan starts normally directly after I come home from work in the evening after 9 p.m., but with the 'old' signatures from the day before.
My question: Is there a better way, to do this just after the latest virus signatures have been downloaded ? If yes, by which parameter setting ?

    I would say - don't do it.

NOD32 has by default scheduled task - to scan everything that run on start-up after every user logon and after successful update.AMON (that scans all file on-create,on-access and on-execute) is constantly protecting your computer and scanning everything.

It is absolutely unnecessary to do scan these directories daily.

You can use NOD32's scheduler to schedule full on-demand scan once a week with the desired profile.Or you can scan manually ~three times a month.
