Automatic download and extraction of updates.

    I am looking for a way to download and extract into a directory the updates using wget.

    My current problem is that there are to many items all piled into one directory so wget has problems when using a wildcard looking for a specific update.

    I was also wondering if there was a command line switch to allow extraction of the updates into a specific folder.

    I am using wget to daily download McAfee updates. wget is especially useful because it supports wildcards. Can you be a little bit more specific what your problem is?
