Hi all, I am having a problem related to NOD32 (adminsistrator) performing an auto update. In short, it cannot, it fails every time with the following error on the log: Time Module Event User 15/09/2005 6:45:40 AM Update Update attempt failed (Downloaded file is damaged.) This happens constantly, I have not had a single successful auto update yet. If I then perform a manual update it will be OK, usually on the second attempt. What is the problem here? I have tried all sorts of config for the update but NONE work. I read another thread here which was similar but there was no resolution to the problem listed.
Take a look at these topics: https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=21528 https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=46616
Maybe the problem's related to using Cisco routers. If so, please drop an email to support@eset.com with a link to this thread.
We do use a Cisco Router here for our Internet. I have emailed them and am waiting for a reply. Find it a bit odd that NOD32 should have a problem with the most widespread brand of router in the world though Is there a fix for this assuming it is Router related?
