    Hi,

    I'm using TI 8 Server (Build 101:cool: on an NT 4 Server (SP6).

    The standard "create image" works fine but when I schedule an append to image job the job fails with user authentication error.

    In the log I get:-

    Error 1,015 (0x103F7) Username or password for remote resource X... is incorrect selected device is inaccessible. Please re-type your user name and password, and check up, whether the selected device is connected.

    Then:-

    Error 5 (0x640005) Image creation has failed.

    I know the username and password are correct and share where the full image is and the image itself to append to is available.

    I have this situation with all 3 of the NT 4 servers, but the 4 2003 servers are all doing exactly the same thing to the same network resource with the same username and password and are all working fine.

    Tearing my hair out with this one so any assistance would be appreciated.

    Cheers

    Chris

    Hello Chris,

    Thank you for choosing Acronis Server Disk Backup Software.

    Please accept our apologies for the delay with the response.

    Could you please make a screen shots of your step by step actions while scheduling this task?

    Please also do the following:

    - Download schedmgr.exe application;

    - Open the command prompt (Start -> Run -> cmd);

    - Run the following command in the folder the schedmgr.exe file was saved to:

    schedmgr get report > schedreport.txt

    - Collect schedreport.txt;

    - Run Acronis Schedule Manager program (schedmgr.exe) once more;

    - Issue the following command:

    set logflags support

    - Reproduce the problem;

    - Collect the log file schedul2.log that is placed in the \Program Files\Common Files\Acronis\Schedule2 folder.

    Please submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files to your request along with the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.

    Thank you.
