Hope this is in the correct place.
    Windows 8 pro 64-bit.
I am trying to find something better than Piriform defraggler.
Usually Piriform defrag takes about 15 to 20 minutes to
defrag the OS C partition. Auslogics is doing the same thing
in 15 seconds. Not possible. When I look at the logs it says
the defrag was aborted. WHY? Is it compatible with Windows
8? Or is there some setting I am missing?
It's also telling me that my registry has over 200 bad files.
This really worries me and makes me doubt Auslogics.
There is nothing wrong with my registry.
Thanks for any insight or where I should go for more detailed
    information.

If Auslogic goes 15 seconds, nothing actually happened as far as a defrag. When they refere to 200 bad files, that could just be obsolete registries etc. If you can re-install Auslogic maybe that will fix it, or maybe you are doing something wrong. My Auslogic defrags are about 20 minutes.

Actually your registry most definately will have "errors" - however 99.9% of the time there is absolutely no need to remove them.

As for your defrag issues I suggest you contact Ausglogics technical support.
