    Hi!

I'm using ATI Home since version 10.0 in addition with a TFTP server in order to boot the rescue media over the network.
I never had problems to do so, but since I'm using the 2009 (12.0 Build 9646) version I'm experiencing some strange behaviour:

Under Windows Vista I was able to register ATI 2009 and had no problems while using it, but when I create a rescue media and integrate this ISO into my TFTP source tree, the ATI rescue media tells me after booting over the network, that this is only a trial version.

    Any advice?

    Regards,
    xenator

    Hello xenator,

Thank you for your interesting in Acronis True Image

I would recommend you download the latest build (9709) from your account (My Account -> Registered Products), then recreate Acronis bootable disc. It should fix the issue.

    Best regards,

    Hello Dmitry!

Unfortunately I can only get the Build 9464 from the website.
Does it matter that I'm using the german version of the software?
I can't find the english version on the website either.

    Regards,
    xenator

    Hello xenator,

Thank you for using Acronis True Image

The latest build for the German version is build #9646, therefore, you are using the latest one that is availbale for you. To resolve the issue please launch the installation file of the program again and select the repair option. After that reboot the computer, re-create Acronis Booting Rescue Media and see if the issue remains.

    Thank you.

    Hello Oleg!

    I've reinstalled the application twice.
The boot-cd is just fine, but when I boot the image via PXE I'm always getting the message, that the rescue media is only a trial version.

    Regards,

    Hi there,

I am having the same issue here with my fully licensed german version (.9646). Booting the recovery media itself, everything works fine. Starting the recovery media version in any other way (e.g. integration of image files in Linux GRUB) will cause an information popup which tells you, that changes won't be done because you are using only a trial version of TI 2009. Bug or 'feature'?

    Hello all,

Thank you for your interesting in Acronis True Image

I have created special task for this issue for further investigation. Meanwhile junOlive and xenator I can substitute German version (build 9646) to English version (build 9709). If you agree please provide your serial numbers via PM.

    Best regards,

I'm using build #9796 and am unable to get the Acronis TI2009 boot loader to work under grub or PXE.

This works fine in version 11 but now with the added licence protection in TI2009 it has been broken.

3 months later, how is this "special task" coming along?

I supplied my serial via PM, but never got an answer.
    Nice product support.

    EDIT:

Tried the newest build (9769) and booting over PXE still doesn't work.
It always tells me that I'm using an unregistered version.

    Any fix for this?
