    I'm running ATI 9.0 build 3854 on Windows XP SP2.

    I have created several tasks, all of them backing up specific files and folders to a network drive. Here's the problem: As long as the tasts are not scheduled (eg. starting them manually) everywhing works fine.

    However, when I try to schedule the tasks, I must enter user name and password for the service to run. When I enter the information like this "ComputerName\UserName" and the correct password I get this warning:

    Access to the file is denied. (0x40014)
    function = "WNetAddConnection3W",
    filename = "X:"
    Tag = 0xF35F747B3B21FAA9
    Logonfejl: Ukendt brugernavn eller forkert adgangskode. (0xFFF0)
    code = FFFFFFFF8007052E
    Tag = 0xBD28FDBD64EDB816

    Followed by this error:

    Failed to backup file or folder 'X:\'.
    Specified file does not exist. (0x40011)
    function = "GetFileAttributesW"
    Tag = 0xA8A1022BD18AE21D
    Den angivne sti blev ikke fundet. (0xFFF0)
    code = FFFFFFFF80070003
    Tag = 0xBD28FDBD64EDB816: Retry/Ignore/Cancel

    Note that excatly the same task runs fine when unscheduled, manually started.

    Can anyone help?

    /Kim

    Er 3854 det siste buildet?

    Anyhow, has this worked before?

    If not, then did you install TI for all users or just your log on? If your log on then have you changed your user name?

    Yes, that's the lastest build.

    Theres only one user login on this computer, however the user name was changed from "Xxx Yyy Zzz" to "xyz" some time ago. I've tried with both user names; "Xxx Yyy Zzz" (which was the old user name) result in the error above. When trying with the new user name "xyz" I get this error:

    Scheduler can not run task "PStellar Local". Logon error: Unknown user name og wrong password.

    Open up services.msc (from the run button) - find the Scheduler2 entry - double click, check what logon it wants to use - try changing the account to your current one.

    Also right click on Scheduler program and check the user permissions.

    Bygge bygge bygge - I feel so much better now :)

    Thanks Bogdy,

    By default it was set to Local System Account. I tried changing the service to a specific account (".\xyz"), restarting the service and manually start the backup, but then a got a new error (something like "local client does not have permission...").

    Seems OK. Otherwise I probably woulden't be able to run the backup manually (without scheduling the task).

    Any other ideas? :)

    At the moment I can only suggest, try re-installing.
