    Hello,

    I'm using ATI 10 Build 4942 on WinXP Professional SP3,
    all updates done, but I'm receiving that Error-Message:

    MS Visual C++ runtime Library: Runtime Error!
    .../TrueImageService.exe
    ... requestet Runtime to terminate in an unusal way.

    After that ATI 10 is shut down immediatly.

    It occurs quite often, so no normal operation is possible!
    E. g. you can't change any listet tasks for changing backup-properties. The tasks can be run, indead.

    I re-installed ATI 10, but it doesn't help.

    I've asked Acronis-Support, but they told me, that ATI 10 is out of support (currently only for ATI 11 and ATI 2009).

    Does anyone knows what's to do?

    Hello Dataminer,

    Thank you for your interesting in Acronis True Image

    Can you please describe the issue in more details? When exactly do you receive the error message? Do you have Backup Location?

    Attach the following information:

    - Press the Start button, choose Run, type "drwtsn32" and hit Enter;
    - In the dialog that appears check the "Log File" and "Crash Dump" paths, then click the OK button;
    - Reproduce the problem;
    - Pick up the user.dmp and drwtsn32.log files in the directory specified at step 2 and send them to us.

    Best regards,

    Thanks for answering Acronis Support,

    but meanwhile I solved the problem by myself:

    Using the Acronis clean up utility from Acronis knowledge-base ( http://www.acronis.de/homecomputing/support/kb/articles/958 ) it was possible to clean all up. But that was not all.

    After that, re-installing ATI 10 (overwrite all driver-files for sure) lead to more error (running ATI 10 made problems): re-installing once more was recommended by the error-message.

    So, another run of Acronis clean up utility (incl. devcon.exe and Msizap.exe, of course), and for sure, again in save mode.

    After rebooting and re-installing ATI 10 again it worked normal and without any problems.
