I like to get any pos. or neg. comments/experience about Astalavista and the membership.
Is it worth to pay for a time limited or lifetime membership.

I think this is a part of the same group that runs the crack search site, but it does look like it has quite a bit of good info.. I would imagine it would mainly be a matter of whether you can justify the price or not. I probably would if I could justify it

Personally I would take a pass on it. Where as someone else might really like it.

 

I would follow Notok on this case: I don't think this is any different at the end to Binaries/p2p/newsgroups/....yahoo...

but it could be convenient

 

It has lots of computer and network security information.
But for most information you need to have some UNIX and Network knowledge.

It is more about Networks,routers (cisco/PIX/DSL),Unix other OS-es and a bit of Windows.

I think it is very usefull, and have been a member for almost a decade.

If you have only a Windows background, and if you are not interessted to learn about other OS-es etc. then it's money wasted.

And i think it is not really a usefull website for hackers or crackers.
