are there any tests/reviews regarding actual removal rates?

    rather than simple detection imo i think this is just as important as detetection. if it cant remove what it finds then imo what good is it!! is there anywhere to find more about the different av's and their removal rates? thanks in advance

    according to the german chip magazine 12/2007 (tested by av-test.de) are the removal rates of active malware
    files/registry:
    Symantec 70%/70%
    F-Secure 60%/60%
    Kaspersky 50%/60%
    Panda 60%50%
    AVIRA 60%40%
    BitDefender 50%/30%
    GDATA 50%/10%

    wow some of them do not seem as appealing now to me.. is there a huge difference between those numbers or are they all pretty good?? (not to mention any names please dont want a locked thread)
