I have 2 xp computers on a router home network.
I have a large external HDD.
Do I need to partition the drive into a partition for each computer? If not, how will I know which backup or restore to use for each computer?

    Hello nodsirrah,

You can create a folder for each computer on the external drive(Computer A, Computer B). When you select the destination path for the backup, put the path to the specific folder not the root of the external drive.
