I have primary and secondary snapshots on my internal hard drive and all is fine....when trying to make an archive to my external USB hard drive and when its nearly at the end, I get this error....

"Windows was unable to save all the data for the file K:\Archive of Primary Snapshot.arx. The data has been lost....1285 Error writing to archive file...."

    Any ideas how to archive?

Unless any one else has any idea's and assuming you obtained FDISR from Raxco, I'd click the about button, and the support info, and have it attach your log, and then send if off to Raxco.

Well I have the same kind of setup as Houley and I copy/update (archive) regularly snapshots to my external harddisk
    without any problems.
Maybe the copy/update (archive) was disturbed by some security softwares and failed.

Houley, did you try it more than once and each time the same error ?

    Hi Houley

You might want to report that to Raxco anyway. There be an issue there that needs fixing.
