Appropriate Security Setup for a Mac?

    I'd like to know what Wilders aficionados recommend to keep a Mac notebook secure.

    Because Windows run on a Mac & because the Apple community panacea of comfort/denial re OS X penetrability by malware there must be more to it! Thanks for the link.

    By the way, I know you have more sophisticated options & choices available to you due to your knowledge levels, how do you feel about Mac? ;)

    Hello,
    Mac is Unix, which means it's better, by default.
    What applies to a Linux distro also applies to Mac and vice versa.

    Mac...umm no thanks. I simply don't like the proprietary hardware.
