Long story short - Keyword Expert makes LnS crash after adding this application to Application Filtering list.

Tried on two different systems, with default and advanced LnS settings, and result is same.
Just add Keyword Expert to AF and then - crash.
Not even need to start Keyword Expert, just add to LnS AF.

Can anyone else (Frederic ?) try this app ?

Is there any workarount for this since I think that turning off Application Filtering is not a good idea ?

Is there another applications that can crash LnS ?

    Hi qazwee,

I will try this application. What is your windows version ?
What kind of crash do you get exactly ? (BSOD or Application and which application ?)
Also crash-dumps / DrWatson logs may help.

    Thanks,

    Frederic

I've reproduced the issue under XP-SP2. looknstop.exe is crashing :(
Maybe it is because of an important text description in the properties of keyword Expert exe. One user reported a similar issue for another application in which the description was very big.

I will investigate further. You can ignore my previous post.

Yes, the problem is about the "Comments" item in version information which is bigger than usual, and a control is missing in looknstop.exe.

It will be fixed in the next update.

In the meantime contact me at lnssupport@soft4ever.com and I will send you a temporary version of looknstop.exe fixing that.
