    This version of iTunes comes with several new features and improvements, including:
    Download: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1614 (or) http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

    Poster Notes: Reinstallation or new installation adds or reinstates MSCONFIG item:
    http://www.systemlookup.com/Startup/4978-iTunesHelper_exe.html "iTuneshelper.exe" - this is a requirement when synching your Apple device to your PC - it is not required otherwise.

    Per my earlier comments:
    iTuneshelper re-adds MSCONFIG item that is only required when you synch any Apple device you may have.
