    Hey guys,

i was wondering if someone encountered the same behavior when using winamp.

clicking on an mp3 file won't open winamp when appdefend is running. when appdefend is disabled it works.

right-clicking an mp3 file and choosing open with, then winamp works regardless of appdefend running or not.

when winamp is runnning already opening another file is no problem when appdefend is running.

    winamp is completely allowed.

    Maybe someone has any ideas??

    best regards,

    tt

I do not have this behavior
How is your appdefend configuration it may be a simple thing like that.

    I'll give you a hint:
appdefend consider two program line as two different application.
Maybe the rigth click trick open winamp witha different command line that double cliking .... this migth explain the two behavior

    thanks,

Well, for testing purpose i allowed every option for winamp.
yes, another command line might explain this, but in the end winamp has to start, which appdefend approves of. setting appdefend to ask wether winamp is allowed or not, i'm only asked by appdefend when winamp is started with rightclick via 'open with' and not by double-clicking. that is weird...

which winamp version do you use? I'm using 5.22

    regards,

    tt
