I made the change and nothing broke :D

I also took the step of keeping a copy of audit.log just before making the change in case I don't find anything more exciting to read.

So that makes two of us. If more people are seeing it, wouldn't it be useful if someone reports it to the devs so that they can take a call on whether to have the rule in the main profile?

An alternative approach is this one from the German ubuntuusers.de wiki.

When I was in Munich for about three years, my colleagues preferred to polish their English skills on me rather than insist I learn German ;)

Well, you might want to report it as a bug in https://bugs.launchpad.net/

For proof that vasa1 is following up on all the info provided, look for no posts from vasa1
    for an extended period. :D

That looks really awesome! And no excuses about language to hide behind. Let's see. Maybe I'll build up courage one day?

I'm going to post that link on the Ubuntu forum as one of my wishes for Precise Pangolin. That should give me some breathing space :D

Meanwhile, I've got Privoxy and Chrome to sort out with AppArmor. But you guys aren't going to escape more questions from me that easily.

I somehow don't like reporting bugs. (Too much work!!!) I'll post it here first and see if anyone bites.

Yes, that's a good one which I had also mentioned in other threads. However, if I remember correctly it's not quite up-to-date. For example, it doesn't mention the Cx and cx access modes listed in the newest version of the apparmor.d man page. So don't be too surprised if you can't find everything in the linuxtopia document ;)
