As stated above, I have a problem because I have a wireless keyboard, and it doesn't receive power while the comp start-up so I can't F8, is there a way that I can un-install without having to go into safe mode?

I think its kinda ridiculous that you have to go into SM to remove ESET, that just makes things complicated.

Hi I don't know why you think you must uninstall in safe mode o_O

I gather your keyboard has some sender/receiver plugged into a usb port ?
Check your BIOS to see if this can be enabled on Boot.

I have a Bluetooth wireless and can F8 no problem due to my BIOS setting.

As stated, not sure why you think safe mode is a requirement to uninstall??

However, if you did ever need to get into safe mode and can't use F8, then just go to Start > Run , enter 'msconfig' without the quotes, click OK, click the 'Boot' tab, and tick 'Safe boot' .

When you reboot it'll then boot into safe mode without any intervention. To boot normally, run msconfig again and untick Safe boot.

However, as the previous poster advised, you should look for an option in your BIOS called 'Legacy USB Support' or something similar, which will allow your keyboard to work prior to Windows loading.

Before attempting to manually uninstall your ESET security product, first attempt to use the ESET Start Menu uninstaller provided with ESET Smart Security 4.x or ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4.x. Click here for illustrated instructions.
