It's the time display on the main interface. I'd like it to display the time remaining but can't figure out how. I tried changing General>OSD Messages>Time Method to "Remaining Time" but it didn't work. I just started using this player and not sure what I'm doing. Anyone know if it can be done in PP? Thanks. :)

That's a 'skin' related issue. Still, you can achieve that by using this YouTube Skin For PotPlayer. Clicking on the elapsed time display swaps it to time remaining.

Thanks Paul. I was looking at PP skins last night. I'll try the one you mentioned. :)

Does anyone know how to keep potplayer from opening a new player every time I click on a new media file?

If you have not found it already: Start PP GUI >Right Click -Preferences or F5 Key > General+TAB (At Top) - right panel - Multiple Preferences choose options. Apply etc.
