Anyone tried out DriverPack 9

    I've tried it on a couple of systems (Vista) and it works very well indeed.I've yet to try it on 7 but see no reason why it'd be any less effective.IMO this is a useful tool to have for performing any re-installations where original drivers aren't available (even if they are if the originals are outdated).:thumb:

    ye my original drivers are definetly outdated which is why ive been looking at DriverPack and just wanted confirmation that it works and is clean. thx for the responses.:)

    The problem is the install program hijacks the home page. A rather shady way of doing business, even if is for free. Use at your own risk.

    This sounds like a very good tool. Imagine the implications; a user is trying to restore an image to different hardware then the image was first created. If there were to put this on the Ultimate Boot Disc for Windows their problem would be solves, as all their drivers are right there. Very nice!

    if u click the drop down option its a simple unchecking of a box to reverse the home page change.

    I prefer to get the latest drivers only from the manufacturers site.
