Just one of the many things that I lie awake at night wondering about.

Some things are actually what they appear to be.

May I ask, where did that come from? How did you happen upon it and get the screenshot (or pic from elsewhere) of it? If it showed up on your computer, then tracking it down likely goes in one direction vs. your having found it somewhere else out there- and exactly where- would probably send one in a different direction to snoop about it...

Well you never did come back with much input..but i still think you only have an english language pack on your PC which cause those symbols to be displayed..

this might give you a hint if you click on the symbols at the bottom of this page.

    Oh, heh, heh,

I must have posted that right before I climbed on the SP-2 merrygoround.

Primrose, you are very astute. It was a picture using my digital cameral.
Everyone says "a snapshot of my screen" I actually take one! Okay, here's the deal...It showed up during boot up, and i just wondered why. I thought it might be some kind of ID. I've been a bit feverish of late, and from time to time I snap out of it for a moment and think, "what have i done this time"

    Then I installed SP-2

    ...."What have I...."

Well i was thinking you have a camera or other device that you have plugged into the USB port and that appeared on your screen or you have some similar device plugged in..do you ? And/or do you have camera software installed on your PC ?

That was taken with an old sony digital camera...the kind that stores pictures on a floppy disk. Just aimed at the screen and clicked. Maximum resolution 1024x768 = 768 KB (i think). I hate floppy disks, and that is not very high resolution, but it was a powerful camera back when i bought it. Someday I will have a new camera!

BTW, I don't have a camera attached to the computer...and if i did i would have to have a hood to put over it when i don't need it...otherwise i would always feel like i was being watched...

    too much informationo_O
