    Anyone know of a program that can save streaming media files? (Audio, Video, etc.) possibly free or FOSS? - Thanks.

    Just about any audio capture will work.

    Audacity is a free program and will do the job. There are many others if you want to do google search. Also Total Recorder if you want to spend very little money.

    Here's another you may find interesting. Krut Computer Recorder. I've not tried it myself though, so am not aware of it's full capabilities. http://sourceforge.net/projects/krut
