Anyone heard of w1.swf?

    When I clicked on IE to go to my homepage this morning (yahoo), NOD32 down in the system tray showed me that it was scanning the content of the site and a file called
    w1.swf. This took a long time. In fact, I didn't let it finish, I simply shut down IE and then reopened it a minute later.

    Just curious if this normal or if I should be concerned.

    That progress what you saw was only downloading progress bar. It could freeze because of packet loss or something like that maybe there was problem with your internet connection or ...

    Yes...my internet connection has been spotty since last Friday. I love having cable internet, but don't love Comcast so much.
