If you use the search function in this forum you will find a number of threads concerning this AV. People have definitely heard of them.

there was a test ran at AV Comparatives of antivirus programs that don't normally get tested IIRC.

I have Rising Antivirus + Firewall in my computer and I am very happy with that. I did not heard about this software before but a friend of mine use it for quite long time and said it is the best. I used Bit Defender V9 before, but I had an unsorted issue with the rebooting each time after new update, even if I tick the option to not do so, that's piss me off especially when I'm typing letter or email. Anyway, I installed this Rising Antivirus smoothly and I am impress by the ease of use. But more than everything else it found 3 virus in my computer when Bit Defender did not. I am very happy and now my computer without this ''rootkit'' seems to run faster. I happy to belong to the 20,000,000 users and recommend it warmly.:thumb:

Rising is far from "the best". It's severely lacking in many areas, especially complex malware.

“government mandatory software” is sounds like innocent kid. Rising is not so good like kav or nod32, but it has better local suppport, lower price. In China there are 123,000,000 people use internet, 77,000,000 of them are using high speed network ADSL, so 100,000,000 selling here is not surprise. Rising has 20,000,000 home customers, over 60,000 business customers not including piracy.
