Do I count as "anyone"? Obviously the artist was influenced by Escher, who loved this kind of optical-illusion thing. Probably his most famous work (I forget its name, if I ever knew it) shows a stairway running all the way around the inside of a courtyard wall, and which appears to be continuously going up (or down, depending on your point of view). I'm sure there must be collections of his all over -- try a Google (or whatever) for more of his goodies. (Edit) Just ran a DogPile search myself, and there are quite a few good collections. There's a particularly complete one here.
Ah, my great countryman, the late Escher! Surely I have to reply on this thread Do you happen to refer to this one? It's called "RELATIVITY"(Nice title for an headache, right Subratam ) Very nice indeed. grtz, Slammer
I dunno -- I have difficulty imagining what 8-dimensional objects would look like if depicted in only 5.
Shucks, sub, you started off this topic with a headache and it's even worse now? Here, try some of these 4-dimensional aspirin, best I could do on such short notice.
