My e-mail tells me that FILEminimizer PDF 7.0, normally $78, is free today. It says it's "an amazing application that reduces the size of PDF files by up to 90% without compromising your ability to open and view them..."

It says "Pictures and embedded objects are compressed by FILEminimizer PDF 7.0 without affecting the original file’s quality." http://www.bitsdujour.com/software/f...#comments68960

Have any experience with this or similar programs?

90% is a lot more compression than I believe I get from a general compression utility.
