Any Track Me Not Alternatives?

Anyone know if there are any programs similar to TrackMeNot? Specifically I want a Windows Application (Tray) that constantly runs that does the same thing without the need of the browser being opened.

A couple years ago someone had a program that did, and then they stopped making it, and everything disappeared. Another company came out with a search engine tool that obfuscated your searches along with everyone else making searches, so your search was lumped into a stack of say 20,000 other searches at the same time. They also stopped making it, and disappeared. Lostinthecrowd.org was one, the vaporized. NoProfile was awesome - and of course disappeared. "Crowds" was another promising system, that's gone;

My idea here is, obfuscating my personal activity with hundreds of thousands of random searches.. Essentially making so much 'noise' that it would be difficult to determine my actual real searches, and my actual likes/dislikes/habits. TrackMeNot works ok, but has flaws, and also requires browser to be open. Any alternatives?

No idea, I've never seen anything else at least. It looks like even that project is dead or there just isn't much interest.
