There was a thread in April where it was stated Nod32 will get IMAP support in couple of months. Does anybody know what is the current developement status now?

Yes - EMON is the IMAP checker and it's already 100% built-in and functions.

fwiw - POP3 is scanned by IMON... which I believe means that if you have a mixture of POP3 and IMAP accounts, then you will be using both EMON and IMON when collecting email.

Clarification near the end of this thread:

Greg, last post, point 6 in the thread you mention clearly states - as I do - that EMON checks POP3 in Outlook.

If IMON and EMON are both configured then POP3 is double checked :)
All mail is checked by EMON if using Outlook regardless of the protocol for sending/receiving. :)

seems the more likely is a double check then... it would be nice if an Eset bod could confirm/refute. Double checking would be ok - but as I refuse to use outlook, it's not bothered me personally, and none of our clients has ever had problems...
