Several months ago VALVe introduced a bug where Team Fortress 2 would crash my entire system. I reported the bug to the Kernel developers in charge of Radeon, but they haven't changed the status to "Resolved" yet. If you have the card + driver above, and you play TF2, please tell me if the game is running OK on Max settings. I'm currently on Windows but I'd like to get back to Linux ASAP. And if you're successfuly running the AMDGPU driver with this card, please tell me how to do it. I'm more than happy to compile my own Kernel (already tried enabling AMDGPU_CIK before compiling, but the driver was not compatible with Southern Islands cards at the time).
