Working for the 4th rated MSP in the world I question these figures. Changing a deployed AV is fairly 'rare' in the business, even in the face of the product not fully living up to expectations. It's actually pretty difficult to get a company to change. Yearly? Not on their lives! I've only seen one client 'sort of' start to change AV's and that was moving away from MSE over to Trend. Also, I haven't run in any company using 'multiple' AV solutions, this goes against all best practices. I wonder if they were polling major IT management/MSP firms, or inhouse IT? I assume mostly in-house IT, and not surprising those aren't managed correctly, or with best practices, and they change products more often.
