IMO AntiVir would be the best free AV if it had better update servers. Otherwise the program is great. :)

@azumi21: I *LOVE* Star Wars! Message to the AntiVir team: Please do not remove the Luke Filewalker name. However, I would like it if it was renamed to Anakin Filewalker :p:D

Then why not just rename it to Darth Wader Scanner ?:D

Sounds like all of the kiddies are happy now that the update issues are resolved, and everything is back to normal.

    :D

Me, too. You ARE aware that Star Wars movies are documentaries, right?

Meanwhile, back at the thread -- I did a full system scan with AVPEC yesterday & got LOTS of FPs on my other security stuff (DrWeb, Kerio, Online Armor, RegRun, etc). It seems that AVPEC's heuristics detest anything that has its own teeny-weeny server, even those designed for downloading updates.
