    True. One last thing. I am not an official spokesperson for Avira. So my comment about rootkit being added to the AV is based on what I feel sure of, but it is not official to they say it.

    Having just made use of the PC-Welt offer and followed the guidance here, I have one more question:

    Is there anyway of turning the splash screen off? o_O

    I hate splash screens. :mad:

    There is a way but i don't know which thread you can find instructions to disable it.
